It was really love at first sight. Indra is a very special female, not only because of her looks but also because of her splendid character. She is the most tender of cats and a very sensible one too. She loves to scare us since she was a young kitten. The first time happen in Sweden, when she was missing for almost a day, scaring breeders and neighbours. It was only after earing her mother calling that Indra and some of her brothers left the hole where they were hidden, beneath the house. Even in our home Indra did a similar trick to us. When Buick died she became queen of the house. She is very tolerant to all cats, except Gioconda, since she saw her beating her son Ashanti. She is in permanent romance with Bryn. They love each other.

We discovered Guyane at Petfil, our first show. At that time she had already a trip scheduled to live in France for the rest of her life and we were very sad of have found her too late. When we saw her some months later the circunstances were very different and we didn't hesitate for a second. She is a very tender and reserved cat, who doesn't like noise and confusions. Guyane is also a super-mother, caring all the time for her babies. She was the one who helped raising Gioconda's kittens. She loves to play with candies' papers, staring at us while we eat them.

A beautiful black tortie, with a wonderful expression and a surprising singularity. We had the luck to always find very special cats, either in their look or their temper, but, this time, was Iwo Jima the one who has chosen us during a visit we made to Educat's cattery. She has fantastic colors, a lot if sweetness and doesn't like to be shy. She is her sister opposite, a daring cat who is always thinking in new tricks, loving to snoop around on bags and to chew things. She runs a lot pursuing her friends and climbs all high places in the house. Because she doesn't want to be subjugated by Gioconda, sometimes she is in the middle of a fight.

We always wanted a black and white solid female and we used to joke with the idea of Indra gaving birth to one like those. Not only it happened but also she was the first one of the litter (and the first of the cattery) to born. All these coincidences and because we recognise in her all nfo's good qualities made us keep her with us. Now she has already lost that rebel and wild character she had and she is one of the tender cats in the house. We are very happy with her, she loves kids and tolerates all their tricks. At night she is always at our side, asking to be pet. She loves all the kittens and spend hours with them, playing and caring for them. The little ones most of the time prefer her to their mother.

It was another part of our plan: to keep a silver daughter of Guyane. Well, after some discussion, it seems that everybody including the judges finally agree with us: she is a black tabby silver female. It didn't really matter because we soon fell in love with her independent personality - even nowadays Baboo is a tender kitten who always know what she wants - and that expression: yes, precisely the one which is in this photo. That wild look, that great nfo look. Some cats you keep because you can't just let them go. And Babooshka is just like that. A true passion!
